The Service and Technology Administration is Katrineholm Municipality's joint service and service provider. We are about 250 employees working to help Katrineholm achieve its vision of a Place for Life & Lust. We are responsible for the operation, management, and development of services in: meals, living environment, communication, active leisure, and service. The administration's employees are driven by great commitment and customer focus - every day we provide services that both residents and employees in the municipality value highly.

The Street/Facility unit works to make Katrineholm more beautiful and accessible for our residents and visitors. We are responsible for the operation and maintenance of Katrineholm Municipality's streets, roads, pedestrian and bicycle paths both in summer and winter, as well as land and facility work. The responsibilities also include tasks such as traffic signage, road marking, and stormwater management.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the workshop, you will assist the workshop manager with tasks commonly found in a workshop, such as repairs, oil changes, and servicing vehicles. This part of the job will be part-time, while the other part-time will involve working as a tractor driver with tasks such as snow plowing, sand collection, brush cutting, and lawn mowing.

On-call duty is included in the position.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working in a workshop and with tractors.

A valid B driver's license is required for the position.

Welding skills are a merit.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independently and plan your work effectively. You should be flexible and able to reprioritize when issues arise. You should also be good at collaborating with others.
